LARGE MARTIN - Mr. Frosty

Ashley Wood's (ThreeA) latest robot design LARGE MARTIN arrived this morning! I came home to find massive boxes sitting in my front room (remember, this thing is almost 50cm hight!) - and I didn't order just one :) So I took some sexy posing pics right after unpacking "Mr. Frosty". S.A.F.S. SNAKE EYE (01)

Kow's latest Ma.K. release came in early this week. The SNAKE EYE has been reissued by WAVE as an all new kit, following the AFS concept with snap-fit and advanced polycaps design for a high degree of articulation and with injection springs (which in the main time I prefer over metal springs :D) Probably the best Ma.K. injection kit so far also comes with an open cockpit mechanic, which can be customized with interior details. An absolutely amazing kit worth every penny and I'm sure it will attract many new fans to Ma.K.! Now I'm eagerly waiting the PROFILE 2 magazine and hopefully some new variant kits covering all the SAFS designs! I'm off to put some color to it!

FREDERIK (painted by nwo)

Remember Frederik? I swapped him with fellow boardy nwo from the 3A forum for one of his WWR customs. Basically because Fred already has been catching dust for too long and because I had to stop nwo from building models out of toilet paper rolls ;D Here's what he did with it and I think it looks real cool! Very artistic and with beautiful painted decals on it! Cheers, mate! :)

FALKE by Hasegawa (02)

Finally managed to start Kow's legendary FALKE! I haven't come very far yet, but just want to post a few impressions of the kit and the new "Profile 1" magazine: Love the old style box art/layout on a traditional tan box!

Hasegawa did an awesome job: Great kit engineenring, nifty sprues break down and easy to build!


The new FALKE kit comes with an upgradet cockpit and pilot figures! For some reason the new bulky headrest is my favorite design addition...

A little bit of customizing ... shortened dive brakes.

The new "Profile" mag is supposed to be published on a regular basis, featuring the latest Ma.K. release, plus Kow's art and stuff. No.1 is dedicated to the FALKE design!



Also included in "Profile 1" is an additional decal sheet!
